Eric McGuffie is the Agency Owner and CEO of Axxess Benefit Consultants based in metro Atlanta, Georgia. He began his insurance career 32 years ago in Los Angeles, California where he excelled in selling Life, Health, and Long Term Care Insurance. During his 14 years with Humana as a Sales Manager where he recruited, trained, developed, and led an internal sales team, Eric was also responsible for the support and growth of Humana’s External Sales Channel. This role afforded him the opportunity to cultivate many authentic relationships that led him into his next endeavor, establishing Axxess Benefit Consultants. At Axxess Benefit Consultants, Eric leads a team of licensed insurance agents who provide individuals with the product knowledge they seek when trying to navigate the complex insurance maze. Taking that approach enables everyone to make an informed and intelligent decision. Eric continues to strengthen the relationships he built in his previous role as he cultivates an agency where its core values are integrity, respect, and providing value. When Eric is not busy orchestrating opportunities for the Axxess team, he enjoys cooking for his family, cutting his own grass, taking walks, and playing with his grandchildren.
