VP SalesMy career in insurance started in 1991 as a sales agent where I met face to face with people across Georgia. After 15 years as a sales agent and sales manager, I took on the role of CDO for Health Markets’ UGA division. I then became president of life and health sales for all of Healthmarkets. After it was sold to Blackstone, Goldman, and Credit Suisse, I spent an additional 2 years there before retiring. After a failed retirement, I was named SVP of Prosperity when they were launching a life division. The team and I built it from zero agents and zero sales in 2017 to $75 million per year in new premium FEX and term shop. The business unit and eventually the whole company were sold again. During the transition, I was asked to replicate what we did at Prosperity for Ladder Life by building out their IMO salesforce. In four months, we have managed to redesign the application, sales process, and underwriting rules, add two new riders, and create a commission system that advances daily. In addition, there have been many other behind-the-scenes changes made to help all our agents. 2025 promises to be a major year, as we look forward to expanding from our launch and helping agents provide peace of mind to approximately 6,500 families by providing them with life insurance protection.
